PARTIAL REFUND
Person made a request to EBAY Help for refund for full amount. She purchased 2 sets of 2. In the refund request she state she wants to keep one of the sets and only wants refund for 1 set of 2. The actions do not give me a choice of a partial refund. How do I change if to a partial refund?

·8 months agoPartial refund is a good solution when the buyer receives the item but has a minor issue. It helps avoid returns, saves time and cost, and keeps seller performance metrics safe when handled with proper communication.

·8 months agoeBay is not really set up for that. If they file a case and choose missing items you can. All other cases it's all or nothing. Do you have the option of giving a part refund? Many cases allow that.

·8 months agoWhat type of request did they open? If it is a return request, they should have been able to specify how many items they are returning if it was set up as a multi-quantity listing, though if it was just a single listing for both sets, that wouldn't be offered.

OP8 months agoIt was a multi-quantity listing. Her request stated she got the wrong item and stated she 2 sets and only wanted 1 set. However, the request is for the full amount. I messaged to verify she wants to keep 1 set and is aware she will be refunded for the one set only. I just can't find away. Thanks
