No actual printable label, only a qr code for "The UPS Store"

That is what the seller sent me, is this a new way of making returns inconvenient?
I can't print the label myself, from home?
I have to run to a UPS store with this QR code?

Sure doesn't seem right.

If it's a seller on eBay and the item came from Amazon...is the item going back to the seller's address or Amazon?

Amazon isn't going to do anything for a refund if seller is 'drop shipping' and item returns straight to Amazon.

Would be curious to know if seller has their real address on this return label and if that's really possible and the seller is in the USA as well.

A lot of sellers who drop ship just refund the buyer.

Hard to say, I took the package to the UPS store just now and...
It's a "No Box No Label" return, meaning I only needed to bring them the item so I really couldn't see the label they (eventually) printed because there were other people there so once they took the item and gave me my receipt it was time for me to leave.

That sounds exactly how Amazon handles returns. You can either print the QR code OR just show it to UPS on your phone.

Was the item delivered by Amazon?

Yes it was actually an Amazon item, this in itself drives me nuts too.
Also I have to print the stupid code, I don't carry ebay/ amazon apps on my phone because they're both resource hogs.

Printing the code works. You could also download the code and email it to yourself, then access your email on your phone (log in through a browser if you don't have a mail app).

You could report the seller for violating the drop ship policy.

You do NOT have to print the Code OR add an app to your phone.

You can take a photo of the QR Code on your computer screen â€¦ and then show the photo to UPS.

Ask the seller for a printable label if that's more convenient. Many buyers find the QR code more convenient since they have to go to UPS to drop off the package anyway.
