My product was marked as delivered, but in the tracking, confirming the return to the seller
My product was marked as delivered, but in the tracking, confirming the return to the seller, on the eBay website there is no way for me to appeal this problem.
The seller said he would solve the problem but he didn't, he kept the money and the product, is there anything I can still do about this?

You are way past the timeframe to recover losses from this transaction 6 months ago.
Your only hope might be contacting your credit card issuer if you paid that way.

OP1 year ago@lakefor94 Hi, thanks for responding, I understand that there is a deadline to complain, but it was complained within the deadline, but the seller claimed that the order was marked as delivered in the tracking, the case was closed, and there is no option to reopen, but after a few days the tracking was updated again, the order was returned to the seller, since then I have been talking to the vendor and he never solved the problem, so I decided to look for other means, but apparently eBay does not have support like Amazon and other sites for example, everything seems to be automated, there is no one to help in this case, only now I discovered this community session.

Contacting eBay at the suggested places with tracking details should help you get refunded.
Use a message NOT a post when you contact them.
Good Luck

OP1 year agoThank you, @pikabo-icu I managed to speak to someone at eBay, they said they couldn't do anything because I would have missed the deadline, but I didn't miss the 30-day deadline, eBay gave preference to the scammer.
but the issue is that I contacted them, but they denied me a refund. Only after several days of trying to understand what happened did I realize that the product had been returned, meaning the seller had stolen from me.
He could have sent my item again, but he knew about the deadlines and kept giving me false hope, saying he would resolve the issue, but he never did.
I have his messages that prove this.
In other words, he steals from people and will continue on the platform just because "I missed the 30-day deadline."
All I can do is post the case on social media, to see how many people have already fallen for similar scams, I've seen that there are many, and I'll never buy from eBay again, I'll take this to as many people as I can.
The biggest mistake is still eBay's, which makes it impossible for the user to appeal a second time. Several Chinese sites, such as Aliexpress, offer this possibility.
There isn't even a simple contact form on the eBay site.
I had to access several sites until I got here months later.
Ebay's policy favors scammers, who apparently won't suffer any harm, and will continue to steal and take advantage of this loophole.

·1 year ago@ismardantas I'm so sorry.. I really am sorry..
I wish it had turned out better for you..
Last ditch effort is contact them via message on their Facebook site.
I know it seems silly but the best reps monitor and answer their FB messages.
Explain it in a message not a post. It can't hurt and perhaps they can help you get a courtesy refund at least.

·1 year agoIn your initial message, you stated this was from October 25, 2024.
Too long ago to take any action with eBay.
Please go back and read the various deadlines in eBay rules.
You have only 30 days to open an item not received case with eBay.

OP1 year ago@soh.maryl Hi, how are you? The case was opened within the 30-day timeframe (Case ID: 53478192455347819245). However, tracking showed the item as delivered during the period when the case was initially opened. The problem is that the case was closed as if I had received the product, based on information provided by the seller at the time. But a few days later, the tracking was updated, showing the item was returned to the seller. After that, I started negotiating directly with the seller, as this was the only easily accessible option provided by eBay. So, where exactly did I go wrong? eBay neither allows reopening the case nor provides a straightforward contact form. I had to figure out how to get here, search on social media, etc.
