Managed Payments: Returns and Refunds - need clarification
The language from the eBay site doesn't make any sense:
"Returns are automatically withdrawn from the payment balance; if you have no payments pending, and returns are applied, you won’t get paid until you make sales to cover the returns."
Do they mean to say "Refunds" instead of "Returns"?
The last phrase says the only way to fund refunds if you have no balance in your account, is from future sales. If the next sale is years in the future, is there a provision to settle the amount due directly by bank transfer, check, credit/debit card, Paypal, etc.?

·3 years agoIf your buyer requested a return, you receive the return, when you refund your buyer, the funds will be withdrawn from your available/pending funds on eBay. If you don’t have enough funds available or pending the money for the refund on the return will come out of your checking account or payment source. Or
eBay may hold funds from any sales to cover the cost of the refund on the return.
