Labels swapped
Summary: danesmarine accidentally swapped shipping labels on two packages, resulting in a customer who paid $99 receiving a $10 item. Despite reaching out to the recipient of the $99 item, they have not responded or returned the package. danesmarine has refunded the $99 customer, who is returning the $10 item, but is uncertain about recovering the $99 package or receiving reimbursement. kensgiftshop and momtoabeautifuldaughter both clarified that there is likely no recourse unless the buyer returns the item voluntarily.
I sold 2 packages around the same time and somehow managed to swap labels. One person paid $99 for an item, the other person paid $10 for an item. The person who paid $99 contacted me when he received his package to let me know it was not the correct item (it was the $10 item). I figured out that I swapped labels and gave the other person who had paid $10 for their item, a heads-up message that he would be receiving the other person's order. I asked him to initiate a return when he received the package. Once it showed delivered, I did not hear from him. I contacted him again to ask him to return the package. Still no response 5 days later. I have already refunded the person who paid $99 for that item without doing a return, and he is returning the $10 package back to me. Do I have any recourse at this point as far as getting my $99 package back or reimbursed for it?

·1 week agoUnlikely, especially if the other buyer knows they got an item they can sell for $100

·1 week agoNope, sorry this happened but unless the buyer decides to return it you won't be getting it or the money back.
