item sold using stolen credit card
I bought a 23 and Me testing kit. Unfortunately, after the 30 day policy. The 23 and Me company made me aware that the kit I purchased from ebay was originally bought from their company using a stolen credit card. They won’t go through with the testing process.
I requested a refund and contacted the seller themself. After doing some research. I decided against my better judgement to close the request due to thinking this reason for refund wasn’t covered in the refund policy. Called customer service. They said they will look into it and hopefully get my money back. After almost a week of nothing from ebay. I called again only to be told they can’t do much since I closed the case. I followed their advice and reported the seller and explained my situation.
Is there anything else I can do with ebay or the seller? I’m out of almost a hundred dollars.

NEVER close a case.

·2 years agoNo, there's nothing else you can do through Ebay.
If you paid through Pay Pal, open a case with them or contact your payment source.
Those kits, they won't process them if they were not bought from 23 and Me.
