Item did not pass authentication
I did not receive any details or explanation why this was done. I tried to use the chat to ask for a call back and was ignored. I want to connect with a live person to discuss this. this should be my right as a seller to get more information.

While looking at your listings in my attempt to look at the item in question, I did notice that the "Coach" wallet you have listed isn't authentic.
You really need to verify authenticity of your items BEFORE listing them!

·4 months ago@parisgirl2002 When I had a white gold necklace fail I not only got an email from telling me what I needed to change and when the item ca,e back to me there was a slip of paper outlining the same as the email. Did you receive either of those? Not sure if you are able to contact the authenticators' directly.

·4 months ago@parisgirl2002 There is nobody who works for eBay here, so you are in the wrong place. I am not clear whether they tell you why an item failed authentication. It seems like some sellers know, but I don't know if that is because they were told or they figured out on their own what the problem is.
I think telling sellers may violate security protocols, similar to why they do not tell sellers the exact reason an account was banned. Telling you why would make it possible for you to fix whatever the issue is and try again to sell potentially inauthentic merchandise. You are going to have to find somewhere else to sell it if you are sure it is legit. I had a listing that had been up for over a year removed this morning because eBay said I violated their copyright rules. The listing was for a set of kitchen glasses. eBay is wrong, but why would I spend time trying to talk to them about it? Even if they told me to list it again, which has happened before, the listing would still get taken down by the AI bot. So I just sell it elsewhere, make my money, and do not sweat it.
Now, let me correct you on something because you are up on a high horse with all this “rights” language. eBay is a private company. You have no rights here. None. Zip. Nada. They own the platform and they set the rules. You agreed to that when you sign up to sell here. It is their playground, and you have to play by their rules, even when you disagree with them. The good news is this is not the Hotel California—you are free to leave if you do not like the playground monitors.

The posters aren't here to coddle, make friends, stroke and agree with members when said members are wrong in their thinking.
There are thousands of posters from hundreds of countries, different personalities and from different cultures. Everyone has their own posting style, some more empathetic than others and some blunt and to the point.
The main point is that OPs get accurate information and if they're "insulted" by how that info is dispensed, they're welcome to ignore it.
