Buyer says i'm responsible for paying the return shipping but under manage returns> return shipping, it states that the seller is responsible for the return cost and must provide a shipping label. So what is correct?

·2 years agoSeller is responsible.
If you can take a photo of damage and send email of photo to seller...not required of course.
Might...just might...the seller would refund immediately and not ask for a return. Just a thought.
I know if something got damaged that I mailed that is what I would do.

·2 years agoThat would be the seller. They have to get it to you in as described condition. Nor does the biyer have to deal with insurance or wait for a claim to be paid.

·2 years agoIt's the seller's job to get the item to the buyer in the condition that was described. So whether it gets lost in transit or damaged in transit that's the responsibility of the seller to make it right.

·2 years agoHi @hayabusarocket
The SELLER is responsible for paying the return shipping when an item is ‘not as described’ in some way when delivered.
[I think you made a typo in your post.] 🙂

OP2 years agoThank you for the repy. I should have been more clear when i said item arrived damaged. It was damaged during shipping but was poorly packed for such a heavy metal item.

·2 years agoIf an item is received damaged, the seller pays return shipping.
The seller will have 3 days to accept the return and pay return shipping or refund without returning.
If they don't, return to the case on day 4 and ask Ebay to step in.
