It was a scam, I was left with both no money and no product. and eBay approved it
I generally scam the highest level came out, the person received the goods, everywhere on the tracking shows that the goods received. the person proves that he did not receive the goods. but the fact that such an order is issued only in the hands of the person who ordered. so I provided evidence that I sent everything correctly, photo invoice. At first the case closed in my favor. then this scammer filed an appeal and to me in the outcome of the case wrote that I allegedly promised to return the money but did not return. about this speech nowhere at all went and how to understand this in general, the protection of the seller does not work at all, the fact that everywhere it is shown that the goods received no one cares. Now everyone can do this, buy and say that you did not receive and eBay will approve it. will give you both money and goods. so even in response it is not possible to appeal, they put a bot that does not understand anything. ask him to contact the person he says that he will not contact you because he does not see any reason to contact you with a living person.

·2 years ago1. eBay protected you in that Item Not Received case at the eBay level @cat_coconut because tracking shows a delivery.
2. The second round was a Credit Not Processed chargeback, where the buyer believes they were getting a refund but was not refunded. Since you can never prove that you didn't promise a refund, the buyer got a refund.
3. eBay is the victim in a chargeback, as eBay is below the level of the decision-maker. But if eBay had protected you at the eBay level in an eBay case, eBay would absorb the loss for a same-type chargeback. However, since there isn't a Credit Not Processed at the eBay level, there's no seller protection for you.

OP2 years agoEbay had to protect, plus I wrote to the support even before the day of opening a dispute that I was threatened with negative feedback and opening a request. although the goods were delivered.
At least there is a violation that the person resorted to threats, which is not in accordance with the rules. so why threaten for the fact that he has already received the goods and took my legitimate money.
"If a buyer reports that an item hasn't arrived.
If you ship an item within your stated handling time, and you upload tracking before the estimated delivery date from one of eBay's integrated shipping carriers that shows evidence of successful delivery, you won't be responsible for refunding the buyer. "
I met all the conditions, I proved everything that was asked of me.
so why was I charged?
so why do sellers suffer from such "protections" go to Instagram, open comments and everywhere under each post there are similar cases and was on a webinar, there too people complained about this.

·2 years agoHi @cat_coconut
Just to clarify some of the basics from your post
-The Buyer filed a claim that they did not receive the item you shipped correct?
-You uploaded the tracking number in the eBay claim and the case closed in your favor correct?
-The Buyer filed an appeal and eBay refunded them and took the money from your account correct?

OP2 years ago1) That's right
2) tracking was added originally as soon as I shipped the item. and in fact the tracking could not be changed in any way because the item was delivered to the buyer.
Yes, the case closed in my favor because I provided all the proof that I shipped the Goods correctly. Name, Surname, Country, Address, Phone number. everything was correct. and I provided a receipt of payment for shipments that they give you when you send a parcel.
Also, in all trackings wherever you go to look at the track number everywhere it says that the goods were delivered on January 16, 2024.
3) Yes right, he appealed and won. i don't know on what grounds.
In the end, where it says case information, it says this.
"More info
You agreed to give your buyer a refund but didn't issue it."
I didn't say that anywhere at all, that I would give a refund for the delivered product. for the fact that it was correctly delivered to the person's hands.
Honestly, I have no desire to sell here anymore. so I am not safe even when the item is DELIVERED, wherever you look the tracking says DELIVERED.
