hello everyone. We sold a Chanel leather jacket for about $3,500,and we got a return request saying, â€œIt has a hole and the leather is dirty.â€We always only sell items that match the details listed on ebay, and this time as well , we sent her the great one in excellent condition.. but arguing with a pushy buyer is a waste of time, so we accepted the return on the same day. Finally the jacket just arrived back. and ðŸ˜±Unbelievable.... The leather jacket that came back has two huge holes in it!We run our business of 14years, and If there were such big holes, we would have definitely noticed since we have multiple staff check the items.As itâ€™s such an expensive item, itâ€™s perfectly normal for us to be super careful during inspection before listing, and before shipping. We suspect, this buyer must have intentionally damaged it because she wanted to return it.She had an aggressive attitude from the start and her way of speaking during the return process was terrible. we accepted the return without hassle because it was a waste of time,but we thought weâ€™d get back what I sent in the original condition.but OMG... ðŸ˜ This is not acceptable as a product. This buyer admitted that she has returned items to Japanese sellers multiple times.It seems she keeps doing the returns, not only on eBay. Since product images alone are not enough proof, we take photos of all parts of high-value items on the day of shipping. If you look at them, you can clearly see that there are no holes, so I submitted the images. I also submitted an uncut version of the video on the day of arrival. However, I received a full refund automatically within 12 hours of arrival. I feel that by writing about this here, I will only convince unscrupulous buyers that the seller will never win no matter what they do. I had heard that listing high-value items on eBay is very risky and that losses are part of the business, so all sellers should have videos and images ready just in case. I realized that it was of no use. We sell expensive items so try to be super carefully and so while we have not that many ratings on eBay,we have a 100% positive rating and have never experienced anything like this disgusting one before.Most of our sales (98%) are generated from our own website. and If eBay is going to be this bad,we are starting to feel like we should quit selling on eBay since itâ€™s just a hassle.
