INAD claim because buyer says they can't see the item in person as well as the pics show it
Is there any use in trying to dispute this even though it is a completely ridiculous claim? The buyer is not claiming that it isn't the same item or that it is damaged, just that the pics show more detail than what they can see now that they have received it. I could see not as described for damaged items or for pictures that DONT show something, but for pics that are TOO good? The buyer is trying to say I magnified the pics to intentionally deceive people, which I did not. It's a piece of jewelry and I have the actual size measurements of the item in the listing. I have been selling on here for 20 years and honestly, just when you think you have seen it ALL> there is always something new. I did offer to take it back if they pay the return postage even though I don't take returns but they filed a INAD already.

·2 years agoWhen I edit pics of potential sale items, the cropping of pics ALWAYS seems to "magnify" the item.
It's all done to deliver the highest quality pics and description of the item being offered for sale.
All sellers should strive to be accurate and exacting in the presentation of their items.
But no matter how hard you try, you'll always run into a fool once in a while.
This is nothing but a "remorse" return wrapped in an INAD.
You're an experienced seller who's sold a ton more than I have, so I'm not about to attempt to tell YOU what to do.
I can only say what I would have done.
I would have issued a return label to the idiot buyer, refunded them when I received the item back, and blocked them forever.
Small enough profit to be made on this dumpsterfire of a selling platform without having to pay for multiple shipping costs because of clueless buyers.
Good luck.

·2 years agoGot to hate those INAD plus "seller does not take returns".
You must do a prepaid return label....or you might end up eBay doing the refund and buyer keeps the item.
No photos, emails or phone calls will help.
And why not do in the future "buyer pays for returns"? in your items...and then you wouldn't be here contesting it? Just a thought.

·2 years agoOnce a case is filed, you don't have much time to dilly around with. Issue a prepaid return label. If the case times out, eBay will refund on your dime and let them keep it for free.
Many times a buyer won't get around to returning it. So, you could get lucky.

·2 years agoSounds like the buyer is saying the item does not match the pictures and was expecting different.
In our seller world, it is an INAD.
