How to talk to someone at Ebay?
I purchased a sports card and sent it to get graded. The grader informed me that the card had been altered and was basically worthless. I have been trying to get in touch with someone at ebay with no success. since it has been 2 weeks since i made the purchase there are no options in my account. This was fraud and has cost me thousands of dollars. i dont know what to do?

·2 years agoI would suggest another grader. Sometimes, a grader can make a mistake. I don't know where you got it graded.
Not to change the subject...but sometimes...getting more than one opinion where you spent thousands( I saw the sale) is worth to have another expertise it.
And not to change the subject again: I sell & buy stamps. And some do make a mistake in grading an item in my field. And these are experts.
A second or even a third opinion for spending that amount of money is worth a few dollars more. Just my own opinion.

·2 years agoDid card go from Seller to Authentication? If so, no returns/no refunds. Also note, I believe 'trading cards' have a 3 day return window if received from the authenticator damaged.
Oh, and there is nobody at ebay that can help you, some offshore (or local on facebook) reps, but there will be nothing that can be done as there is no proof what card you are trying to have 're-authenticated'.
Card returns
Before purchasing, check the seller’s return policy. If the seller doesn’t accept returns, the sale is considered final. If the seller has a timeframe for returns, you must open the return within that timeframe. In the unlikely event that your card is damaged in transit, you can open a return request on a final sale card so long as you do so within three days of receiving the card.

OP2 years agothere is proof since it is a number card so there is only 1 that exists, but i figured there wasnt anything that could be done since it was over 3 days. It did go through authentication, and its my fault for believing they were doing anything at all
