Go to the item in your purchase history click the button that says return, then select the appropriate reason for the return. If the seller doesn’t issue a return label in 3 business days you can ask eBay to step in to get your money back.

The OP wanted to know how to return an item. Filing a chargeback through PayPal or credit card should be the last resort. The OP also didn’t say anything about hidden contact info…I’m not sure where you got that from. Plus eBay doesn’t show that info in order details.

@nh7235 I did not see anything about a seller 'hiding' any information. [eBay does not allowsellers to post their email address and phone numbers in listings. That is to avoid 'off eBay' transactions.]
What I see is a new buyerwho doesn't yet know how to return an item on eBay. Your telling the buyer to go directly to their credit card company is terribleadvice ... as well as a likely a violation of eBay policy.
We need to tell buyers to use eBay's Money Back Guarantee ... which does NOT involve contacting sellers outside of eBay.
