How long does it take a Return to drop off Seller Hub?????
I issued a refund for a returned item and due to circumstances only refunded the item price but not the original shipping. The Buyer filed a false return claim and I also reported them for abusing the return process.
On Feb 5 I refunded them and 12 days later the item is STILL showing on my Open returns page ... with a note "Waiting for Buyer to confirm refund received." I am confused since that part is out of my control.
I've done my part on the return but was wondering if omitting their original shipping keeps it on the list? I recently refunded a return in Full and it dropped right off the list. In both cases I did my part by issuing refunds so I am a little confused why it won't drop off the list???

·2 years agoI was wondering when someone gives a refund but at the same time the buyer becomes "no longer a registered eBayer"...where does the money go?

·2 years agoIt will time out and drop off in due time.
Sounds lime it is giving the buyer an opportunity to appeal to eBay for a courtesy eBay refund or approval of completed refund.
I have had a return hang around in Seller Hub for a couple weeks.

That's what I am seeing ... the one where I withheld money for their shipping is the one that is still hanging around.
