How do I get a refund for an defective item when the return window has closed
I bought an ABS unit for my 2001 Volkswagen GTI. When my mechanic installed it, it made no communication with my car's computer. It was a faulty part. I'm trying to get a refund or return the item but the return window has closed. I think I should still get a refund for this purchase as it did not fulfill its purpose. I keep getting directed in circles trying to find a way to get a refund to no avail. Can't even call anyone to get help. What do I do??

·3 years agoMaybe your ABS sensor is miscalculated.
There are return deadlines on eBay. You missed them.
Try disputing the charge with your credit card, although they have deadlines, too. Usually 60 days.

·3 years agoThe only way to get a refund or your money back is to report your credit card company as a unauthorized charge since the window of dispute with eBay is already closed. Now if you pay with a debit card or saving account. Forgot it! You can kiss your money good bye. There are no protection in getting your money back. Cause I did that with Amazon and TD bank said no you have to go through Amazon to get your refund or money back.

Maybe it was installed wrong.

·3 years agoIf you're past eBay's 30-Day window, you can go through PayPal or finally to your credit card for 180 days. Good luck.
