·3 years agoIf a college notebook was faked to say 800 sheets, then 4 months in turns out it's the regular 70 sheets, hell yeah!
Same if a flash drive says 2 terabytes, but only holds 8 gigabytes, it's going back for a full refund! Or a box of 500 dryer sheets turns out to have a false bottom. Or a ...

·3 years agoIfyou bought the flash drive from Staples and then 4 months down the road realized it didn't work, would you bring it back to Staples expecting a refund?
And please stop buying from China on Ebay! (except for fleece hats)

·3 years agoWas the seller in China? If yes, go ahead and do a chargeback. 99% of the items that they sell are counterfeit, not the size / capacity that they claim, poorly made, wrong size, etc. Open the case. DO NOT RESPOND TO THE SELLER. He knows he sold crap and will tell you to close the case and that they will send you a new one.
Let the case go to the end. Also, promise to never ever buy from china again. In the future, whenever you buy anything, test it out to make sure everything is ok. Open the box, inspect it. If clothing, try it on.

·3 years agoI made the mistake of buying a Flash drive from China once. They have a way of Showing on a computer that they will store a large amount but really they only store a few Kilobytes or nothing at all.
You won't get money back from eBay it is too late. You will have to do a chargeback on your credit card. You could message the seller and MAYBE they will offer a refund but don't count on it.

·3 years agoYou get about 30 days on most items to open a not as described case for a refund on eBay. Anything in January would be past the typical time limit. You really need to check your items to make sure they work before the return window is closed. If you paid with PayPal you get 180 days and you can try there if it truly was not as described. You will pay return shipping.
