GETTING HELP FROM EBAY?
Please tell me how to get Ebay help they keep telling me to contact seller and return item. I will NOT PAY FOR SHIPPING WHEN THE SELLER SENT ME A FAKE RING!! They need to give me a paid shipping label for the return and that option doesn't show up anywhere. Getting Ebay help does not show up anywhere either. Please help me they say I have to return it by 4/10 and I'm running out of time here. Thanks for any help you can give

·5 months agoAlso report the seller as using forward deployed inventory, they may or may not have been approved to do so....probably not. When "communicating" with eBay always refer to the label as, "a usable label", the seller may/may not send you a label, but it needs to be one you can use. You tell eBay you never received a usable label

is a return address label on my package that is in Jamaica, NY can I ask the seller if I can return it to that address since it's at least an address in the USA?

Your seller is probably drop-shipping from a warehouse in the USA since they are actually located in India.
All you should do is type a reply message in the INAD dispute for the seller to send a return shipping label or money for a return shipping label and wait until April 10. If the seller has not sent the label or money for the label by then you should have an option in the dispute page to escalate this to eBay.
I highly doubt your seller will do either, and if they don't, eBay should refund you due to the MBG.
I wouldn't contact the seller through eBay messages at all and keep all communication through the dispute resolution page.

Go to your purchase history and click return item and select, the item doesn't match the description as the reason.
The seller will have 3 days to accept the return and pay return shipping or refund without returning.
If they don't, return to the case on day 4 and ask Ebay to step in.

·5 months agoALL eBay buyers, as well as ALL eBay sellers, need to get well acquainted with the Money Back Guarantee for buyers, preferably BEFORE beginning to sell or buy here.
You apparently received an item that was not as described. You had 30 days after delivery to open an item not as described case with eBay. Can't tell whether or not you did that. It would have been important to use the reason "not as described" when you opened the case.
Your seller would have been inquired to send you a prepaid return label and to refund upon receipt. The seller had 3 days to respond to the case. If he did not, then you would've returned to the case and asked eBay to step in, in which case you would have been refunded and told to keep the item.
Now, if you will please return and tell us what you did after receiving the NAD ring, we'd like to help you get your refund. Unfortunately, if you didn't follow those steps outlined above, you're going to have to go to your card and open a case. Most cards give you longer than 30 days.

OP5 months agoThe same day I received the ring I had it tested and found it was plated not 14k so I opened the return request
and checked the NAD as reason. The seller accepted my return and sent me a notice to return item to an address in India. No shipping label was given. It said I have until 4/10 to return and when I input tracking info they will issue refund in 3-5 days I think. When I look at refund info more options it doesn't say ask Ebay to get involved anywhere. It only says seller accepted return and now I need to return it to get refund

·5 months agoIf it's the seller I'm guessing (since you only have one recent feedback as a buyer and it's from a seller in India), they can't provide you with an international shipping label directly, but they are required to send you the funds for a label, usually via PayPal. Respond in the case with a message (if possible) asking them to send you the funds for the label, so that it's on record, and then after 4/10 the option to ask eBay to step in should appear if they haven't done so by then.

OP5 months agoThe seller is ...... and they have not sent my feedback and I'm waiting to do mine after I get my refund. I sent 2 requests to seller already to provide shipping label the only thing they sent me was the return address in India and I'm supposed to input tracking info once I return it. Why since it's been over 4 days isn't there an option for Ebay to step in yet? I'm not going to pay to return it I can't even imagine what the cost would be I guess I could go to the post office to get the cost. I don't have Paypal anymore all I have is the debit card I paid with is that going t be a problem? Because they sure took my money from there right away without a problem I think they could refund it back there or give me money to ship it back there

You're not allowed to post seller names on the forum, btw, so you may want to remove that before the moderators do.
You need to ask the seller to provide the funds for a shipping label, and figure out a way to receive them (it won't be through eBay, there's no way for them to do that) or to refund you. As noted, if you have until 4/10 to ship it back, I expect the option to ask eBay to step in will appear by then.

OP5 months agoThe reason is that the ring was not what was described. It was supposed to be 14k gold but it was gold plated
the package even said "imitation jewelry ring"

·5 months agoDid you open a Return Request on eBay already, or did you just message the seller? If you did open a Return Request, did you choose the option from the drop down list of reasons that said the item was not as described? If so, the seller is required to provide a return label, and you would not need to buy one yourself. If you have not opened a request, do it right away.
