Get a refund from a seller that is selling counterfeit merchandise and using counterfeit USPS postage on return label
Summary: cymo03 reported an issue with a seller on eBay who allegedly used counterfeit USPS postage for a returned item. Despite the package being delivered back to the seller, the seller denied receiving it and refused to refund. albertabrightalberta and others advised not to modify feedback until resolved and suggested filing a dispute with the payment source if eBay doesn’t intervene. r_lresale discussed potential shipping and sourcing issues, while kri_846149 shared a similar experience seeking refunds for counterfeit items.
I need help getting in contact with eBay to report a bad seller and help in getting my money back from the seller.
Seller sent me the return USPS label.
When I pulled up the tracking number on line, it stated that the seller was using counterfeit postage. I went in and talked to the USPS lady and she was able to pull up the tracking number and did verify they did use counterfeit postal and per their USPS GPS tracking the package was delivered to the seller.
When I contacted to seller regarding my refund, I was called a liar, and tried to tell me that they do not USPS they only UPS, which is not true. They used USPS to send me my order, and they sent me the return label which is USPS.
After I left a bad review the customer sent me a message apologizing and asked me to remove the claim/bad review and then they would refund me my funds.
All I want is my refund and this customer this customer held accountable for their actions so they can not do this to other eBay buyers, as they are still active on eBay.
I have complete photos and documents to back up my issue.
Any help with getting eBay to help would be great.
Thanks Lori Handke

I made a post but it's not showing publicly. (Not sure what's going on.)
So I'm copying:
That's so weird because this is what is shown on USPS:
So it's odd that they would have delivered it. And if it was delivered, why wouldn't tracking show movement and ultimate delivery.
If you contacted the seller requesting the return through messaging, that was the wrong way to go about it. What you should have done was opened a return request for NAD through the ORDER, not via message.
I'd leave the feedback and not remove it, even if you do get the refund.
Go to your payment source and file a dispute. Include whatever documentation the post office gave you to prove that the seller received delivery of the return.
If the seller doesn't issue a refund when notified of the chargeback, ebay will charge the seller $20 fee for not handling the chargeback and you'll get your refund. (The seller will also get a defect on their account.)

Although this is OT from the OP's thread, I strongly recommned you verify authenticity of your own current and completed/sold "Louis Vuitton" listings.

·1 month ago · EditedOk that seller used UPS Ground Saver which means the last leg of delivery is done by USPS. Are you sure the return label wasn't the same?
As @albertabrightalberta asked did you actually open a return request or did you just ask the seller and they sent a label on their own?
Also the seller mentions the retail on Amz. and they were offering half off. As their other 3 negs are for the same supplement, it looks like the seller may have gotten them off of an Amz pallet and didn't know they were counterfeit. It happened to me with some skincare and when my buyer made me aware I apologized profusely, returned his money and told him to destroy the product and I threw the rest away. Bless him he gave me a positive and said he would have no problems buying from me again. I guess what I'm saying is I might give the seller the benefit of the doubt on this one. DO NOT change your feedback if you don't want to or at least see if they send a refund.

·1 month ago · EditedAnother question: Did you actually open a NAD (not as described) return request or did just contact the seller through a message?
EDIT: I looked at the seller's listings and although the seller is in Germany, they are dropshipping (probably) from Amazon. Did you happen to notice how many Nutrafol items they've sold? (Each listing shows many available.)

·1 month ago@albertabrightalberta Actually now that I think of it I also saw they sold 100 of them which does look like drop shipping although on 4 negs....

Please clarify and explain:
"Seller sent me the return USPS label."
How did they send the label? Was it through ebay and your return request? If so, it wouldn't have been counterfeit.
"I went in and talked to the USPS lady and she was able to pull up the tracking number and did verify they did use counterfeit postal and per their USPS GPS tracking the package was delivered to the seller."
If and when an item has counterfeit postage (whether labels or stamps), the post office confiscates the item and does NOT deliver it to the addressee.
"When I contacted to seller regarding my refund, I was called a liar, and tried to tell me that they do not USPS they only UPS, which is not true. They used USPS to send me my order, and they sent me the return label which is USPS."
Again, how did the seller send the label?
What is the tracking number?
"After I left a bad review the customer sent me a message apologizing and asked me to remove the claim/bad review and then they would refund me my funds."
Don't revise the feedback unless and until you're made whole. And even then, you aren't obligated to revise it.

OP1 month agoSeller sent me the return label through email messaging and I also had it copied to my email.
Here is the tracking #: 9302 0867 8969 8986 8017 53
Per the USPS worker and I was able to view the USPS GPS document, which included a photo of where it was delivered so it was actually delivered to the address on the return label.
