Forced to refund buyer because a package was not delivered on time!
After being forced to refund the buyer because they hadn't received the package, I see that they DID receive the order, albeit a month late! So now I'm out of money and the order! What should I do now? Do I have no rights here on ebay ? should I have waited for the package to show up? I feel I'm forced to refund or be punished for not refunding!

·5 months agoTypically ebay only refunds when the parcel is declared lost by the carrier. If there is any movement within the carrier network, it remains valid. So, unless you refunded on your own, ebay only did so when a problem was apparent. Seller should have reached out to the carrier to have the item returned.

eBay usually won't do that when tracking is still in play.
Did buyer open a claim and eBay made you do a refund?
