First Ebay return. case is still pending after a dispute, but I have label now?

I ordered a really expensive collectable, it showed up with a broken leg joint.

Seller tried to convince me to fix it, then avoided shipping me a label saying his country can't make one.

finally, right before I would have had a full refund and kept the item, he magically figures out how to get me a label.

Good, I just wanted my money back, the issue is, the case is still escalated and pending, before it had a spot where I could copy the tracking number so ebay would know I shipped it so how do I indicate I've shipped the package.

I can click "case resolved" but I don't think that'll fix my issue or open another "return option"

so I still don't understand how the system was supposed to work.

but the agent said I am fully protected, to ship it using the shipping label, and once it arrives to let another agent know.

the level of trouble I had with this is insane, I wish I didn't have to order certain models from out of country.

guys getting a review.

he claimed he couldn't get a label, then last second the day he was about to lose the package he magically made one.

tried to get me off platform to pay me for it ect, I don't understand, but it smells of scam.

happy ending I suppose

Only one return request is allowed per transaction. So you won't be able to open another if you close this one, and you will have given up your refund.

You can either wait for eBay to automatically force a full refund, no return needed (even though you've already returned) after the 5-day hold expires on the escalated case.

Or leave a private message here for eBay with the return tracking number, to wait an extended time until the tracking shows that the return is finally delivered or not delivered back to the seller, to get your refund.
