eBay’s return and refund process
It takes so long to get my money back when I am buying a collectible worth a good amount and eBay doesn’t have a good enough system or safety nets for people buying a person selling a fake item cost me 4 weeks of waiting for my money going and contacting eBay 7 times asking the status and having to wait days because someone is not selling a real item and fakes the shipping labels one agent even told me it looks like a scam and they did nothing about the seller. Just more requests instead of the old eBay where the agent could refund you over the phone for a bad product which I didn’t even receive. Now my money is being held from me. Thanks eBay for going on the new sellers side that is obviously not selling anything rather than the 5 year buyers account that spends money on your platform. Waste of my time and money change the refund system back to the agent’s discretion.

·5 months agoClear - and I agree, it would be nice to have agent discretion with refunds. We might still have it / maybe smaller items, maybe all of them.
Regardless, understood that it is aggravating to wait for your money when a sale wasn’t legit. That’s part of the risk of buying online. As long as you know what you are doing, which you do, you’ll get that money eventually.

CS doesn't know anymore then what the case shows.

·5 months agoYour message is a little short in useful information, but we would like to help. Did you receive an item that was not as described? Did you open an item not as described case with eBay? If/when you do that, and the seller sends you a prepaid return label, you return the item promptly and are usually refunded fairly quickly. You mention fake shipping labels as well as an item that's NAD. What "agent's discretion"?
PS: It's not our platform. We're all fellow buyers and sellers who volunteer our time here to help others if/when we can. But to do that, we'd need more info than you've offered.
Also, any seller here will tell you that eBay is usually heavily biased in favor of buyers.
