eBay says I printed return shipping label when I haven't. Please help (i'm on a time limit)
I returned an item that was defective. I received an email that says "Print Shipping Label", but when I click on it, it says that I already printed it. I have never opened the email or clicked the link. When I click the link, it just sends me to a page that says the tracking number and that I already printed the label.
I don't have an option to void or reprint the label. It says I have to send the package before a few days to process the return.
I am trying to find a way to contact eBay, but the website is just sending me in circles.

·3 years agoTry clearing your browser's cache and try the link again.
Make sure browser is set to open PDF files with Adobe and not its built in reader.
Try going to your Purchase history.
Find the item in Returns and cancelled orders.
Select View return details.
Choose See label.
If the label is printing blank:
When the return label print window opens, do not use the PRINT button at the bottom of the page. Instead click on the ">>" at the upper right of the window and either use the Print or Save option there.
If none of the above helps, you will have to call ebay to email you a copy of the label.
Best to also get an acceptance scan from the carrier, especially if close to the cutoff date. Otherwise, one day late getting scanned and seller can have ebay close case in his favor.

·3 years agoThere should also be a copy in the messages on your my eBay page. I always save them as a .PDF file and then print from it. That way I always have a copy and can reprint it if anything goes wrong.

OP3 years agoThere isn't a copy. It's just a link to "print shipping label". If you click the link, nothing happens other than redirecting me to a page with a tracking number. But I never printed the label or even clicked the link the first time I opened it.
