What steps do I take to get money back gurarantee from eBay? My seller doesn’t accept returns and the item is defective. It said it is covered by the gurarantee but don’t know how to go about it.

·1 year agoFind the item in your Purchase History. Click on it. Click on "want to return". Reason: not as described.
This has to be done within 3 days of receipt of the item. You then wait 3 days for a response. The seller is supposed to send you a prepaid return label if he wants it back. If nothing happens in that length of time, you return to the case and ask eBay to step in. They will tell you to keep the item and will refund you from the seller's funds.
Then please take the time to read the Money Back Guarantee. Hopefully, you won't have any further problems, but, if you do, it's good to know what to do.
BTW, on eBay, a seller's "no returns" stance doesn't mean "no refunds".
