eBay International Shipping return cost
Hi,
how much does it cost to purchase return label via eBay International Shipping. Let's say I shipped an item to my buyer and I paid 50 USD for the shipping cost. How much should I expect I pay if buyer decides to return the item back to me and I buy return shipping label for him?

The other posters are referring to the eBay international shipping program which is available only to sellers in the US. Since you are in the Czech Republic you aren’t able to use that program and will have to ship directly to buyers, That means if a buyer wants to return an item that is covered under the money back guarantee you are responsible for the return shipping at whatever it costs from that particular country. There is not one particular cost as it depends on what that country’s postal system charges.

OP2 years agoThanks. I know and I really ask about EIS available only for US sellers.

OP2 years agoSo EIS covers return shipping cost even if the item delivered to the buyer is faulty, not as described? No matter what country I ship to/item returns from?

·2 years agoYes, as long as the item made it to the hub, you're done.
EIS takes care of everything after that.

If you actually used the eBay International Shipping service, the EIS takes care of ALL return problems.
Once the EIS reaches the eBay Seller Hubs, the seller is no longer involved with the sale, and EIS assumes all responsibilities.
Personally, I have already received notifications from eBay regarding buyer problems with TWO of my recent EIS sales -- but eBay has assured me that I have NO responsibility for taking care of these problems, and has NOT deducted any money from my account to refund the buyers.
The EIS is actually a very safe method for eBay sellers to handle international sales.
Must be something wrong.
