When the buyer is issued a partial refund, your eligible fee credits will be proportional to the amount that the buyer is refunded. For example, if the buyer receives a 20% refund of the total amount of the sale, then you'll be credited 20% of the eligible fees that you were charged.
Fee credits | eBay
Sellers refund their buyers, if ebay refunds for you then your account will be charged for the amount of the refund and no fees will be refunded.

OP3 years agoThank you for your answer. So if I understand it well, say I sold something for $ 1000,-, my selling fees are $ 150 and I make a refund of $ 200,- , Ebay will credit me for $ 30,-?

·3 years agoif you go to make a partial refund of 200 ebay is only going to take out 170 of your money.ebay puts in $30 of its own money or the FVF.
the buyer will also get the taxes paid on the 200. they will come from ebay who took them in the first place
