Dissappointed with innovee.tech customer service
So I ordered this Monitor from innovee.tech just over two weeks ago. The Monitor arrived, opened the package noticed the stand was packed in a Fedex plastic bag and stuffed on the inside between bubble wrap and the cardboard box (not original HP box). I didn't pay it any mind as the screen didn't show any damage/crack. Got home, opened the box, assembled the stand and powered up the monitor, only to receive this display (actual image attached). Obviously I was upset and now had to start the contact and claim process, I first contacted the seller (innovee.tech) sending them an image of the screen and informing them of the situation
innovee.tech first response was "When did you receive it from your freight forwarder?"
Me: "I collected it today and just powered it up and noticed how it's showing. Can I initiate a return and have another sent to me if there's more available like it? Or I have to initiate a refund and go through the purchase process all over again? I have 3 of them hence the reason I ordered the same type"
innovee.tech - "Sorry, but you’ll have to contact your freighter and make a claim with them"
Now not even a little empathy of the fact that a product I bought from their company was received damaged, it was like don't bother us, we got our money already so too bad for you. Anyways I reached out to the shipper UPS and Amerijet/websource, both indicated that it's a used item and they don't honour claims for used items. I again reach out to inoovee.tech whose attitude again was like I was bothering them. I took the matter to Ebay, who instead of reaching out to me to made a decision based on what innoovee.tech told them.
What I want to know is, why is EBAY supporting such dishonesty and poor customer service from this company who boast returns guaranteed, refunds etc.

·1 year agoIf you open a Item Not As Described return case, the seller will likely win in this case because you used a freight forwarder. When an item is forwarded the eBay Money Back Guarantee for the buyer is voided.
If this seller knows what they are doing and I think they do, you will likely lose the eBay case.
It is too bad you can't buy a monitor locally on your island. Or can you? Monitors are easily damaged in shipping.
