Defective return not accepted
Item Order date: Jan 01, 2026. Delivered on Sat, Jan 17.
Seller accepted return for a defective item on 2/2/2026 that.
Ebay messaged “The seller let us know that they provided a way for you to return the item. If that's not the case, contact the seller.â€
After contacting the seller, response from was “I am sorry to say that we don't have return shipping label.â€
Since then there is no way I can find to contact ebay.
Purchase History, select "See return details," and click "Ask eBay to step in and help" does not appear in item return details. The last day to resolve this is Jan 17, 2026.

·6 months agoThis may sound a bit silly - But, Did you file an INAD (item not as described) case. If you did not file an INAD case (I think) that the seller could not send a return label. Im sure others will help with this.

OP6 months agoYes, I did file and ebay messaged me that a shipping label was coming from the seller and to contact ebay if I didn't receive a shipping label. There doesn't seem to be a way that I can find to contact ebay for help.

·6 months agoThat's a popular tactic: Sellers can choose that third option on the screen when asked to provide a return label.
Instead, start a chat (not a call back) at ebay.com/help -- keep typing agent, answer "no" or "something else" as needed, over and over until you're told to wait for an agent.
Then ask for your return label. Otherwise @gbennet5 leave a private message here and tell eBay that you need a return label.

·6 months agoAre you saying you returned a defective item to the seller without opening an item not as described case and receiving a prepaid return label?
Why would the last day to resolve this be January 17, 2026, when you just received it on January 17th?
Please go to the information about the MBG and read how to open an NAD case and return something.

Ebay messaged that return label would be provided on 2/2/2026.
Contacted seller on 2/10/2026, Seller responded "I am sorry to say that we don't have return shipping label."
Can't locate a method to contact ebay now.
