Customer support NEVER calls back
I have been waiting for over 3 hours now for a callback from eBay staff when the chat bot had a 2 MINUTE wait time. I get that sometimes there are more people in que so things might go slow but this is unacceptable. I have 4 days to return an item and the seller has no return label and i see no option to make an eBay one even at my own cost.
EDIT: Never mind, I'm a fool. I was the one that forgot to triple check my phone number, it is sorted now.... Oops.

·4 months agoAlso make sure you click confirm after you click to have them call you back. When you say call me back it hangs a few seconds then has a confirmation prompt come up. They dont queue you till you click that. I think it's in hopes you miss it and/or close the window before it shows up.

If so, how long ago was the case opened?

·4 months agoWhy do you need a call back to return something? Just open a return. You don't generate the return label, the seller does in response to the return request.

I would recommend you hang up and try again. Sometimes a phone spam filter will sent it to junk. I have found the wait times are pretty accurate.
