Cancel order - will this affect in my stats as a seller

Hello there

Today I have sold one item (car part if it does matter). The buyer contacts with me and asks me to cancel the order, because it wont fit on his car. I have the "ask the question if you are not sure" in all my active listings. But noone reads the description until the end of it ðŸ™‚

So the question is - will this affect (in negative way) in my stats as a seller? I believe the buyer can cancel the order too, if I am not wrong? Please, give me some advices what is the proper way to do this - in the meaning both sides won`t be harmed in any way.

Cancel it and go ahead and block that buyer. He doesn't even know what part he needs. You do not want him to re-buy anything that you list.

"Buyer requested" cancel transactions don't affect your stats, just "Out of stock/damaged" cancels do.

The buyer can only request to cancel, but cannot cancel on its own.

In fact, there is such an option (maybe it depends how long since the order has been paid). I did it successfuly.
