Buyer wanted return, but havent returned the item??
So the buyer bought a bow from me, he wanted it returned and his full money back, i told him to make a dispute so i could send the money back to him and know how much... he made the dispute, the shipping label cost got took out of the funds. the buyer has not yet shipped this package, it has been 9 days and there is no tracking report of it, hasn't even taken it to the post office to return, i'm not sure what to do.

·10 months agoJust sit tight. Many buyers never get around to sending items back. That is in your favor, as you don't then have to refund. Don't contact them as that could prod them into shipping it.

The buyer got 30+ days before returning an item with funds on hold.
My return remained open for 35 days...no tracking and buyer never returned it.

If you haven't issued the refund already, you just have to wait and see if it gets returned.
If they don't return it, the case will close.

·11 months agoIf he just opened the return 9 days ago, eBay gives him 15 business days to actually start the first scan for the return. In other words, the buyer still has 2+ weeks to ship the item back.

If he opened the return request but didn't send back the item by the date he was supposed to ship, you can go back to the request and ask to have it closed.
If you sent the label through the return request, you weren't charged for it. Sellers aren't charged until it received a postal scan showing that it was used. If a label goes unused, there's no charge.
