Buyer stole my item after a full refund and left false negative review
Buyer claimed my item was counterfeit so I requested he return my item and I gave him a full refund. After the refund he refused to send back my item and gave me a negative review. Beware of the scammer trying to get free items and there money back.

·1 year agoUh you made the choice to refund him before he returned the item. The buyer didn't scam you, you scammed yourself.

Your buyer is not a scammer. You made a mistake. You need to familiarize yourself with eBay's Money Back Guarantee and how returns work.
The procedure for "not as described" returns is buyer files a NAD claim, a label is issued for the return of the item (out of your funds), the buyer returns the item and when you receive the item back, you issue a refund.
If you give the buyer a refund up front, you are essentially telling him that he doesn't have to return the item and if he already has the refund, what incentive is there for him to do so? None.

·1 year agoSorry, but the buyer didn't steal your item, you refunded them before the item was returned.
Once refunded, buyer has no reason to return the item.
