Buyer protection even exists?
I ordered designer and expensive bracelet on eBay, it was delivered to me through their authenticity program by FedEx and after opening i realized it was not my size and i issued a refund and free return, which was approved. Bracelet came with documentations and heavy double box.
Fallowing eBay return policy I went to local Fedex printed a label through QR code provided and weighted a package it was exactly 2 pounds, since I used same packaging I received and later checked FedEx original packaging delivery to me it was also 2 pounds.
A week later, I received a call from eBay that authenticators received untampered but empty package, with only few pieces of wrapping paper inside. It has been a month of going back and forth, but eBay almost immediately issued no refund to me, even though I have a FedEx proof and documentation that I dropped 2 pounds weight in my package and wrapping paper can’t weigh so much. FedEx claim is approved and they confirmed that they are in fault, but eBay as original shipper didn’t even pay for insurance for bracelet that was I’ve $6000. Now FedEx only payed out $100 from this claim back to eBay, not even to me. If I would pay for shipping I’d definitely choose the insurance for high value item shipping, but since eBay is the one who decides not to refund buyers- they also saving money by ordering the cheapest shipping methods and just hope for the best, and if it gets lost they just put the weight of their mistakes on customers. Here you are, fallowed all the rules and policies, spend days calling customer service, police report and investigation on my own and still looks like I will be stock with a bill of other people negligence.

Just file a CREDIT NOT PROCESSED chargeback with your card issuer, give them the returned tracking number, and get your refund. No story needed: Simply
1. Returned with tracking
2. Haven't got a refund
3. eBay hired FedEx
Why Would a Customer File a Chargeback With Reason Code "Credit Not Processed?"
"Credit Not Processed" chargebacks are filed by customers who have returned their purchase but did not receive a refund from the merchant.

That tantamounts to FRAUD. Item was never returned to Merchant. Item has disappeared during shipping, return process. Insurance has paid out amount it was covered for. There was no "Credit" to be processed. Buyer here is suffering the consequences for what little Insurance was provided for item in both shipment to Buyer, and Buyer returning item. Filing a claim with your Credit Card Company for "Credit Not Processed" with reason being Item was returned to Merchant and Merchant not Refunding, AFTER all this with FedEx, the payout after filing a Claim with FedEx insurance, so on, KNOWINGLY, is committing FRAUD.
Is this "Community" here in the practice of advising people who need help on how to commit FRAUD?
Be careful with the advice you give.

·10 months agoThere is always a risk like this when buying and selling stuff online. I would have avoided paying thousands of dollars for an item. Unfortunately there is nothing anyone in this community can do to resolve your issue.
