been trying to return item and the seller keeps giving me an inproper address.
i know they are just giving me the run around hoping i just keep it irealize i pay for the return why dont they just send me a return lable and they can deduct the cost from my refund ? instead the seller has given me 3 different add: im so upset.

·2 years agoDid you open a return request through ebay? That is how returns are handled 100%. There is not a manual process for that. Sellers play games to try & run out a clock so they are no longer liable under the ebay money back guarantee.
Might want to read this if bought through the US ebay or find the version upon your local ebay page: ebay Money Back Guarantee

·2 years agoStop talking to the seller. If you're getting bad return addresses, it is vital that you get an EBAY RETURN LABEL despite you'll pay eBay for that return label @t.cody-4 instead of buying your own return label.
That way even if the return is never delivered you will still get the refund, whereas you won't if it's undeliverable/bad address when you use your own label.
Leave a private message here and tell eBay that your need that eBay return label.

OP2 years agoi have never had this problem but no ebay lable was sent to me for return and usually i get a msg. sent for returns but i have to print it this time all i get is 3 different addresses that they provided me thru ebay msgs. the 1st one was in cinese or japanese i couldnt even tell , net time it gives me an address 1 and then adress 2 . and neither one even have the same address which was on the pkg. i even called ebay and i got no hlp there. and im sorry i could barely understand that person, also they didnt really want to talk to me because im not my husband. well i ordered it and the clock is ticking. so i msg. seller again and they said we sent you address when you returm items we will refund you. well if i send to this address that is 2 addresses in 1 and they dont get it you are telling me that i wont get my money back? i have never for this item rcvd. any type of return label. plzz hlp !!! how do i get an ebay return lable

·2 years agoI don't think that you have answered yet what reason you gave for the return. The reason may depend on how this is handled.
Also, is the seller giving you an address overseas and did the listing state that the item was being sent from another country?

OP2 years agoi was sent a msg. to buy a return lable from what ever shipping carrier so where at the post office !! wth this stupid address id pay ebay for a return label , ebay has never disapointed me . ???????? plzz hlp!!!

·2 years ago"Trying to return" doesn't mean you've opened a Return request. Have you? If so, the seller will provide the shipping label (with their return shipping address on it), if you used a Not as Described reason. If they haven't after 3 days, escalate the claim to eBay.
