Accidentally closed a return
I returned an electric bike and paid nearly a thousand pounds for it. It didn't work the seller said the bike was damaged which I despute as I sent it back in the same time condition. He wanted to refund me 800 I said I wanted the full amount. I accidentally closed closed and the return the seller had already got the bike back. Ebay refused to help me ive tried getting my money back thru my credit card they are going round in circles asking me the same questions I doubt I'm going to get my money back. I I'm really upset with ebay I've never returned an item before and just pressed the wrong button on the return. And got no idea what help it would what you so ever disgusting

·1 year agoNow you know, when you close an ebay Return, you are done with that return opportunity.
Whenever you file with your bank, that takes eBay out of the picture.
Stick with working with your bank at this point.

·1 year agoNo, you are upset at yourself.
Ebay has nothing to do with your woes.

·1 year agoNot sure why you're upset with Ebay, they didn't close the case.
Since you opened a case through your credit card, the Ebay case would be closed anyway.
Once you go through your credit card, Ebay will no longer be any help.

·1 year agoYou cant reopen a case, the rules are the same for everybody, no exceptions. If you paid at Paypal, you could have tried for a chargeback there, but since you have your bank involved now, thats not possible, sorry. If the seller meets the criteria, he is allowed to keep some of the refund for damage to the item.
