Accidentally chose buyer requested a return what Do I do?
Please Help
I am a new eBay seller and made my first pretty big mistake. I recently had a buyer purchase a item and after purchasing the item some how he did not pay for shipping or sales tax? I had put in buyer pays for shipping and had it being shipped in a flat rate padded envelope. In my confusion i cancelled the order and since there was not a option the described my situation i inputed buyer requested the return which he did not! I emailed the buyer the reason why I cancel the order and now he is upset and wants me to correct that I canceled the order (which i did) and he did not. It does not look like there is a option to reverse a buyer request to cancel What do I do? Please help

·2 years agoIf there was shipping charged in your listing, and if the buyer lives in a state that has state sales tax, there is no way he could avoid paying for those things.
Can you show us the payment information in your records that shows that that happened? You do know that eBay charges a final value fee on a sale and that fee is calculated on the price, the shipping and the state sales tax if applicable, right?

·2 years agoWell... I don't know how the buyer failed to pay for shipping and taxes. Your shipping charge is on your listings and the tax would have been charged, if the buyer lives in a state that charges it.
But, that aside... it sounds like you cancelled the order and those can't be reversed. You'll have to relist the item and have your buyer purchase it again if the buyer is willing.
Good luck.
