·6 months agoIf the buyer is in the same country you ship from, ebay would provide the label to the buyer. If there are in a different country, no label can be sent & in that case, alternatives come into play.

How are you shipping?
If you were using EIS (ebay international shipping) ebay would take care of everything.
There is nothing for you to do.

·6 months agoThere is no need to paypal the buyers.
Ebay sends the buyers labels to use then charges you for them later. You will see a charge in your billing details about a week after the item is returned.
You don't see the label, only the buyer does.
Yes, you are losing money because you don't have to effectively compensate the buyer TWICE for return shipping. Once is sufficient.

·6 months agoI may be wrong, but return labels are not charged to your account until they are used/scanned/accepted.

Not quite sure I understand what you are saying. The shipping labels would have been sent to the buyers. Did they return the items to you? If so, how did they return them, i.e. with an eBay label? Why did you have to send them $8.00 by PP? Did they ask for it? If the return was handled by eBay process, you should not have had to give them "extra money".
You are selling mostly inexpensive items. So, yes, you would lose money if the buyers file a "Not as Described" claim and you wanted the item back. What were the reasons for the returns?
You just need to give us more details of what is going on.

·6 months agoWhen you approve a return, you'll have the option to pay for return shipping.
If you decide to do so, the customer (not the seller) prints out the return shipping label.
