Returned Defective Item Not Defective
Hi,
Last week I sold a flashlight and after receiving it, the buyer said it was defective. The flashlight would not turn on. He contacted me and I authorized the return. Before I listed the flashlight, I tested it and it worked fine. The return cam today. I checked it and it works fine. Ebay Customer Service doesn't seem to have a way to deal with this kind of situation that I can see. Any ideas?

·1 week agoYou just need to refund. All sellers will get a return now and then that the buyer "lies" or is "incompetent". You can report the buyer for abuse of the return process but don't expect anything to result from that other than putting the buyer on ebay's radar. If the buyer pulls that trick a few more times they will get banned.
But for you just refund and relist the item.
