You have to love ebay
I sat here early on and was adding product to a listing where you can add variations ...a "You choose listing" for those who know...spent the last 2 hours working on it adding 19 more DIFFERENT VARIATIONS, as I have done for the past many years..
I make sure none of the variants are a duplicate in description, sku # etc. finish up and hit the revise button as normally always do...and get a big red alert "duplicate" variation( of which there are none - even Star, the ebay tech agreed ) and of course she was the firewall between those who should be accountable and had to submit an IT ticket ( I should have my own booklet by now ) and she could not get any intelligent answers...even some that made me laugh at what they told her...
So here is typical ebay...in this situation ebay tosses up the big red alert indicating there is an issue, and even tells you there is a "duplicate" listing...apparently ebay knows which one that is in question...but it is a secret and cannot tell you, even though they know which one...leaving the seller to simply guess....Basically there is a problem and we know what it is, but we are not going to tell you or the techs...it just is... I am pretty sure I know where the problem is and judging from this entire community forum...it becomes pretty obvious...while many are self inflicted and do not read...a great deal are caused by ebay itself.
