Where Is The Immediate Payment Button?
Hey eBay, where is the Immediate Payment button in the pricing/payment section when creating listings? Honestly, how does stuff like this keep happening? It's constantly update one thing, break another. Literally constantly. @ebay

·7 months agoIt is still not resolved. The immediate payment required option is there for me, but it's still turning off with a new/renewed listing.

There is a tech alert for this right now: ALERT16317
1) On your computer scroll down to the ? mark on the lower right and select report tech issue and then share the alert number and say briefly say what is happening. This is the best way to report tech issues to eBay and have your account added to the open ticket.
2) Also report your issue on this thread:
https://community.ebay.com/t5/Report-eBay-Technical-Issues/Error-with-trying-to-list-both-on-PC-and-Mobile-app/m-p/35369115#M148365
This solution works for some:
1) Open your draft listing on the website/browser/computer.
2) Scroll down to "See Pricing Options" and click that.
3) Turn ON (blue) the switch for Buy It Now
4) Turn ON (blue) the switch immediate payment
5) Verify that the check box for 'Require immediate payment..' is Unchecked.**
6) See if you can list your item now.
If you can't see the Immediate payment switch in the pricing options
6) Change from Auction to an Buy It Now (or vice versa), then repeat steps 3,4 and 5
7) Change back to Auction and see if you can list your item.
**If you use Business Policies, the Immediate Payment Required box will be in your Payment Policy
If you try this, please let me know if it works (or if it doesn't).

If you are having the same problems, read this carefully.

A) This solution works for some
Start your listing by the "Sell Similar" link on one of your own previously completed auctions from a week or more ago to start a new auction.

·8 months agoThank you for the detailed instructions. I have reported the glitch multiple times by using the ? on the listing page, but it hasn't been fixed. I only have BIN listings, so the auction part isn't an issue for me. When I list from scratch, or from sell similar, the immediate payment required option is simply missing from pricing options. I have 2 accounts, this error effects both. Today while I was revising some older listings eBay reverted my listings to immediate payment not required. Additionally, some (not all) of my listings that renew at 30 days are losing the Immediate payment required. I can go into the app and scroll to find each individual listing, then change them to immediate payment required under preferences, but that takes a long time.

Many of the people asking this question are unable to list due to the button. So let me answer differently.
A) Are you using Business Policies? If so, Immediate payment is not in your listing at all. It's in the Payment Policy
B) If you are not using Business Policies
- Try Bulk Edit to add IPR to all listings
1) Go to your active listings in Seller Hub: https://www.ebay.com/sh/lst/active
2) Check the box beside each listing you want to make a change to. (start with just 2 listings - later just pick them all)
3) Click "Edit Selected" from the drop-down list
Once Bulk Edit opens,
1) Select your items again, then
2) Bulk Edit
3) Payment <<==
4) Require Immediate Payment <<==
5) Apply
6) Submit All
7) Confirm and Submit
8 ) Done

·7 months agoi too have this issue. Customer service added me to the list yesterday. it is ridiculous that Ebay has not resolved with Sellers reporting the problem weeks ago. I tried the suggestion solution above and it did not work.
katwalker23
·7 months agoHow did you get customer service to add you to a list? I've reported online at least 20 times, but I haven't talked to a live rep.

-- How to Have eBay Call You --
There is no incoming phone number for buyers or sellers. If you want a call back from eBay Customer Service, here is how to get a call:
Start at an article close to your question (you can look from here: https://www.ebay.com/help/home)
Scroll to the Bottom of the page similar to your question
1) Click "Contact Us" or the ? then:
In the CHAT WINDOW
2) Type "I need help"
3) Click "Selling" (or your topic)
4) Type "Agent" in the chat window
5) You may need to click "Something Else" or "More Options" or type "Agent" a few more times
6) Click “Have Us Call You†(or "Chat with an Agent")
-- If you use a call filter on your phone, turn it off temporarily, or it might block the incoming call.

·8 months agosame it just recently disappeared. I have to turn it on from my phone everytime I list an item.
katwalker23
·8 months agoYes, they have turned a 1 second process into several minutes. Even my listings that are renewing at 30 days are being switched to immediate payment not required.

·7 months agooh no I have to check mine now yikes. However I'm not going to manually redo all mine. I don't know why they have to mess with this stuff.
