Verification
Why am I constantly subjected to the irritating verification demand when I'm on ebay? "Checking your browser", verification by clicking on hamburgers, trains, etc., over and over and over and over and over and over again and often before the actual ebay website will even show up is ridiculous. It is so irritating that sometimes I'm very close to quitting ebay permanently.
ebay, if you're reading this, you are driving buyers away (and maybe sellers too) with that crap.

·4 months agoI am not a robot...but wouldn't it be nice if we sellers and buyers when we try to contact eBay we could do the same thing?

Are you using a VPN, hotspot or Starlink network? Those can cause verification issues.
Otherwise, try another browser to rule out a browser issue.

·4 months agoNone of the above for me, but I am getting these same interruptions, and the most ridiculous part of the whole thing is that I'm logging out at the time. Yes, really. (Windows 10 box using Chrome)

I'm using the Opera browser, and I'm not changing because of ebay. ebay should stop that crap. No other website that I have ever been on does that. All they do, if anything, is "I am human" by clicking in the little square.

It might be worth trying another browser as a test; if things work better in a different browser, then that might suggest some things you can try to get Opera working again.
