For months now I have been getting error messages like "Unable to login. Please try again later" about every other time I try to log in. It is ridiculous at this point. My firefox browser is updated and so is windows 11. (windows 11 is complete trash by the way)

OP2 weeks agoLog in worked 1st try today. No error message. Maybe Ebay fixed it. With that being said, Windows 11 still sucks and there is no fixing this garbage that randomly slows down for no reason at all.

·3 weeks agoTry another browser to rule out a browser issue.
Try another link to rule out a bad link, particularly if you are using a bookmarked page or a browser home page to sign in.
Anything odd about your network connection? Using a hotspot, VPN or Starlink? Using security software or settings that might be causing an issue? Using any add-ons that might cause a conflict? Try signing in without using any of those things to rule them out.

OP2 weeks agoI did that as well. Tried chrome and the useless microsoft edge and still got the messages. I got the same message yesterday about 4 times in a row. Amazingly, the first log in of the day worked the first time for me.

·3 weeks agoDo you have your browser set to delete cookies on quit deliberately? Because simply staying logged in is probably the easiest solution here. Also: Win 10 LTSC. You couldn't pay me to inflict Windows 11 on myself.

OP3 weeks agoI dont have it set up to delete cookies. I delete them from time to time myself but not often. I also just don't like leaving accounts logged in like that. This is a somewhat recent issue I have had. Sometimes after it fails to log in, if I click on the ebay main page button to get out of the failed attempt log on screen, it completely screws up the location setting and starts showing a different language.
Yeah, I don't recommend windows 11. I bought this laptop with Win 11 on it because my other HP with WIN 8.1 was having some mouse click issues, battery issues, and certain file formats weren't supported on it. So this heap of dung will just randomly slow down at startup and won't get better. I have 32 gigs of ram installed in it and my old HP with WIN 8.1 is still better. Windows needs to continue support for Win 7, 8.1, and 10 and completely scrap this junk OS. I might have to just finally switch to a Linux platform because this OS is really irritating me. I haven't felt this way since Microsoft went from the best OS they ever created, Windows XP professional, to the garbage that was Windows Vista.
Also, the Ebay issue I have started before I switched over to this new laptop and was going on with the old laptop. I have been wondering if it could be a support issue between Ebay and Firefoxs platform.
Finally, I got the error message again when I logged in to check my sellers page
