Unable to accept offer from buyer in the UK while located in the Uk

I’m located in the UK and a buyer located in the UK sent me an offer. But when I try to accept the offer I get a message “there was an issue processing your request.{5543}. When I try to buy that same item I get the message “unfortunately this item is not available for purchase in your location”. This also happens with other items located in the UK, but I cannot see a pattern as it seems to be random. This has never happened before and only started a week or so ago.

Are you trying to purchase on ebay.com? Or on ebay.co.uk? Make sure you are on the latter.
