The Red Flag that signal problems with my ebay account
So over the past 5 years, whenever my piece count is off the problems start and the sales drop.
So about 4 days ago my piece count started showing 1000 items less in my store than actually listed. This is when the server failure started, the white page "stream" failure started and my sales took a dumb. My small 20k item store is now outselling this 70k item store for most of the day.
The original problem started some 5 years ago when ebay started the adding the new servers. For years I battled this issue. For 2025, most of the year it has worked fine but now my account is back to this issue.
I have listed 200, 300, 400, 800 items in on day and the number count stays the same (public showing store). Then is will kinda balance out overnight but still be off by 1000 items. This morning it is off a little over 1100 item.
I am just documenting this long standing issue in case it helps others. This has been reported by myself to ebay many times over the years but it has never been fixed permanently. When the number is correct, my sales are 900 to 1.3k a day, when it is an issue my sales drop down to 400-700 a day. FYI
