I have been an eBay member for well over 20 years, how do I stop the multiple daily pop-ups telling me to download the eBay app???????? That daily pop-up has gotten WAY past being just annoying.

·2 weeks agoI have been dealing with this for over 2 years Customer reps. are of no use. The first rep. I spoke to had me sign a "release form" to give permission for them to remove it. It did not. I finally got in contact with the tech dept via email. They said I should perfrom several popup prevention strategies integrated in Chrome and try several blockers. All to no avail. After several back and forths, I was finally told they could not help me and that I should hire a tech support person. FINALLY, about a month ago I was speaking to a Ebay rep. about an unrelated problem who was very nice, knowlegeable and helpful. After he resolved my issue, I asked about the $10/5 popup. He said It is nearly impossible to get rid of and Ebay does NOT want to get rid of it. They use it not only to get new customers, but also to get the cell phone numbers of Ebay users for marketing purposes. He also said to move to a browser like Brave. Take this with a grain of salt! I give up!
