Terapeak research not working
Anyone else getting "Our server failed to respond to your query. Please try again later"
Was getting this on and off yesterday, but todays seems to happen more often than not every time I try and search for something.

OP2 years agoJust an FYI for everyone following this thread, have tried several searches over the past 20 minutes and everything is working as expected, no dreaded “our server failed to respondâ€. Hopefully it’s sorted going forward 🤞

OP2 years agoAdded my account to the open ticket - was told it could be up to 72 hours before they fix it, but hopefully sooner.

·2 years agoI've had the same message all day. Started early this morning, about 6:00am and it's now 4:00pm and getting the same message:
Our server failed to respond to your query. Please try again later.
Makes it hard to post new listings when I can't properly research past sales for the item.
Is eBay aware of the problem and working on it?

·2 years ago@catshakseller. Did you see my earlier reply? Yes eBay is aware as there's a repair ticket number. CS said to contact them with the number I provided to add your account to the ticket.
I'm just a volunteer but trying to help fellow members.

·2 years agoSame since yesterday and into today. Contacted customer service late last night and asked for it to be resolved. Still nothing.

I encourage you ALL to contact CS via Chat or Social media and add your accounts to the ticket.

·2 years agoThank you for listing this! Always glad to know it isn't just me. Started yesterday and now totally not responding. Shows me how much I use it. Also within last hour my description area will go blank if I leave it to add an item specific. Usually still there if I go to drafts. Don't know but figure this new problem might be related. I hate change :).

·2 years agoAlso been getting the server error messages for 2-3 days now. It's my lifeline, so it's very frustrating. Repeatedly returning to the page to enter a query, only to find out that it's still down, is time-consuming.
Wish that eBay would post a status acknowledging that they're aware of the issue and when they expect it to be resolved.

OP2 years agoSurprising to me that with a technical issue that's obviously been ongoing for days, the server error wouldn't accumulate somewhere and alerts would subsequently ring out to the relevant tech staff so they can fix it - once some kind of error threshold is reached within a given period you would think it would be brought to the attention of the techies. Do they work around the clock or only on business days? I assume ebay is big enough to have tech staff available at all hours, especially for often used tools throughout their site.

·2 years agoSeems to be intermittent. I got the server message on and off during the last hour (it is now 6:00 cst.) I was able to complete a few searches in between.

OP2 years agoI remember it happening several years ago where the tool was down for a week, but it's been rock solid since then. Hopefully they sort it out.

OP2 years agoHey thanks for trying it out. Yeah, it's been happening for days on and off but today it's been like this for several hours. I can't see anywhere to report the issue to an eBay tech person so thought I'd post here.
