Technical error showing seller doesn't ship to a certain location when I actually do
Summary: A participant experienced a technical error on their platform, where it incorrectly indicated that they do not ship to a certain location, although they actually do.
I'm a seller with a basic store on eBay, and have over 1400 listings. May 15th I lost a sale because the buyer was getting a message at checkout stating that I didn't ship to their location. This person lives one state away from me in the US. I checked all my shipping settings, nothing on my end to cause that message to happen. I ship to everywhere eBay allows. We couldn't get the issue resolved, and they bought the item from a different seller with no problems. I contacted eBay and they had no definitive answer, except to say that the buyer may have been using VPN. I asked the buyer, and they said they were not. My sales have been very slow for weeks now, and I'm wondering if others who want to buy an item from me are seeing this message, and just moving on to another seller. Anyone else ever had this problem? If so, was there a resolution, and how was it resolved?

You have three items that do not have shipping specified. If you sort by highest price, then scroll to th end of the last page of your listings you should be able to see those here:
https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_ssn=debsterone&_sop=16&_ipg=240&_pgn=6&rt=nc
That can happen if you do not specify a qualified shipping method, or if you choose dimensions that do not work for your chosen shipping method.

OP4 months agoI just checked those listings and I see what I did. In the dimensions boxes, I accidentally put a 3-digit number in one of the boxes, making it over the allowed dimensions. Thanks again for your insight!
