Hey @urban_picker! We apologize to yourself and others that experience the multiple sign-ins and re-verifying. A fix was rolled out late Monday, January 13th and if yourself or others are still running into this please feel free to let me know.

OP1 year agoand of course when they shut the site/accounts down to do maintenance over night I get no sales. I used to get 100's of dollars of sales overnight, especially because I ship worldwide. When they shut down overnight to fix things I go 6-12 hours of the 24 hour day with ZERO sales. So far last nights shut down, I am 10 hours in with no sales with 62,000 items in two stores. So much money lost for the last 3 years of website issues and shutdowns.

·1 year agoSame here. Sign in/verification anytime I try to resume draft, create listing, edit listing, sell similar. Did 10 listings, took nearly an hour. Plus order drought for 32 hours and counting. 😑

·1 year agoMy computer was scrubbed so to speak this AM with CCleaner and disc cleanup, defragged and restarted. So blaming it on cookies and other software issues with everyone's computer is a head fake **bleep** line.

·1 year agoMe too, just another glitch brought about by eBay staff trying to justify their paycheck by changing what use to be a working platform, the more they change it, the more it gets messed up.

·1 year agoYou have to love the "standard answers, empty cache, change browser, try incognito, etc..." when it's a rampant issue. Frustrating having to sign in multiple times just because I went to a new page.

·1 year agoI had to sign back in just to tell eBay your comment was helpful. Not surprised this is still broken after 4 hours.

OP1 year agoOver 100 times for anyone keeping track and the lowest sales days in the history of ebay with 62,000 items listed over 2 stores

·1 year agoFinally had to give up listing, it became so frustrating. It was taking far too long. Ebay needs to get it together. Then you have to wonder what are they breaking now.

·1 year agoOh my goodness! What is this all about? I literally had to sign in AGAIN just to give this post a helpful! Please fix this, eBay. It is so **bleep** annoying! Sign in to revise every single listing, sign in to create a draft, sign in to buy each label, and on and on...

·1 year agoI'm also having this issue. I sent a "tech issue" notification to ebay, still not resolved. Very annoying. I'm not using any new devices, nothing new has changed on my end.

·1 year agoMe too....create a listing, finish and launch it, I get "its us, not you" screen, then I'm signed out. Sometimes it happens in the middle of saving photos to a new listing. All day long now.

Giving us your countdown for signing in isn't necessary.

·1 year agoThere may be something new going on if you have not made any changes to your browser or network connection settings recently. Possibly a conflict between cookie data and what eBay is delivering at the moment.
Try a private or incognito browser window to see if that makes a difference.
Here is my boilerplate regarding Captcha issues, which you may have already seen many times:
Repeated Captcha requests or failures might be a sign that your browser is having problems saving cookies properly, or else a sign of a network issue. Using a VPN or a hotspot, or certain kinds of privacy software might also cause some issues.
Make sure your browser is up-to-date and has JavaScript enabled (and not blocked) and that cookies are not being blocked:
https://www.whatismybrowser.com/
Try using a different browser or a private or incognito browser window and see if you run into the same Captcha issues. If not, try manually erasing just your eBay cookies in your original browser.
Try an alternative link to sign in to rule out an issue with a particular link:
https://signin.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll
Try temporarily disabling your ad blocker to see if that makes a difference.
If you are using a mobile browser, try changing to a different browser mode: mobile, classic or desktop. Try a desktop browser or a mobile browser in desktop mode.
Or try using the eBay app.
If you contact eBay directly, mention ALERT15299 to have your account added to the open ticket.

·1 year agoSame here. Windows 10 pro 22h4 most recent update 12/10/24, Firefox 134.0 update 01/11/25. Message tells me to sign in to view or do anything when I switch pages in eBay and have to enter password again. Subsequent messages indicate "your session expired" which was an average total time between pages switches like my summary, to seller feedback to order details of less than 2 minutes per view. It is a programming problem with the bay.
