Shipping cost to California are not calculating correctly
I have had at least three items that shipped out to California and the shipping charged to the buyer was half the cost of the actually shipping. The latest one the buyer paid $5.68 for shipping. The packaging was well within the Packaging size in my post but the shipping I paid was $11.84. The item sold for $5.42 so I ended up losing money. This is the third time this has happened.

·2 weeks agoAs others have indicated your shipping was a Flat Rate on some of those Solds and that is why. Before it keeps happening you need to bring up your Listings in Seller Hub and Sort at the Shipping Cost Column. You can bring ALL listings with a Flat Cost to the top and they will have a Dollar Value unlike Calculated.

If you want ebay to calculate the shipping differently for each zip code, you should choose calculated shipping as the option when selecting the shipping method during listing creation.
If you choose this calculated shipping option, you will be prompted to enter the weight and package dimensions, and each buyer will be charged differently based on their location.
If you choose the flat rate shipping option, all your buyers will pay the same flat rate cost for shipping regardless of the zip code location.

·2 weeks agoThe reason the buyer paid $5.68 is because it has a flat rate shipping charge of $5.68.
The shipping is the same, no matter what zip code you enter.
