I do not use the app to list but I have someone near and dear to me that does. He hasn't been selling long but has used the "Sell Now" and uploaded pictures, letting Ebay's system fill in the blanks. He is pretty intelligent in real life but lacks the knowledge to jump through tech hoops (he will catch up), so he relies on me to help. I tried, much to my frustration.
I believe there was some discussion on this but no resolution. What I need to know is this
All I see for listing on the app is a search bar "Tell us what you're selling". He can no longer go photo first.
Is this an update and works as it should or is there something not working that should?
Since I do not use the app, I am spotty at changes in it.

·4 months ago@spendingcents26150 if you're referring to the feature where you take a picture and AI fills in the rest,
CEO Jamie Iannone has said that is something eBay is specifically only making available at this time to new/occasional casual sellers to help streamline the listing process for those with less experience.
Once you've made a few sales or met whatever undisclosed criteria eBay has set to no longer be considered a new or occasional seller, you may lose access to the feature. If that happens, I don't believe there's a way to manually switch back - you just have to use the regular listing process at that point.

You may be better off asking this question on the Selling board, where there are many more sellers with experience that may have run into this issue or that may have an answer, a workaround, or a good suggestion for you.
