Seller said it already refunded but didn't reflect on my account
Hello good day!
I ordered a book and waited for a month but item didn't arrive so i message the seller they said that they already refunded the same amount but I didn't received the said amount since they sent last June 4 and the case already closed, it's been a week already, nothing reflected on my bank and i cannot make an appeal cause the seller said to me they refunded it properly. When i scrutinize my account on ebay.com (international site) the payment information said that "Your payment information is not available on international eBay sites. To view and update this information, please go to Payments on the PH site ." Since i am located in the Philippines. When i transfer to ebay.ph the payment info was correct and reflected in that website. I bought the item in UK, Is this the technical issue to why eBay didn't issue me yet the refund yet?

·1 year agoIf/when you don't receive your purchase on or before the last estimated delivery date, you can open an item not received case the day after that date and you have 30 days to do so.
ALL eBay buyers need to make themselves familiar with the Money Back Guarantee. It offers good protection if/when a transaction goes wrong.

OP1 year agoRefunded. i contacted my credit card company the amount finally reverted back.

·1 year agoIf you're getting a refund, it will go back to your original payment method. Refunds are typically available within 3-5 business days. Some refunds may take longer depending on your bank's processing times.
It's only been 3 business days (today is day 4), so give it more time.

·1 year agoNo, you just have to wait out the processing time. You refund will automatically be sent back to the original payment source.

·1 year agoIt’s not a technical issue. You can’t see it on eBay.com because 1) that’s not the site you’re registered on, and 2) that’s not the site the transaction took place on. As @wastingtime101 stated, it can take several days for the refund to actually show up in your account. It depends on your bank/credit card company, as to how fast they are in processing the refund. Give it a few more days. If it doesn’t appear by the end of this week, come back and let us know.

OP1 year agoOkay thanks for advice, i might actually ask ebay to step in if non in a week and some forum said if non within a month i need to contact my bank/card company.

·1 year agoIt could take a few weeks to a complete billing cycle for the refund to show up in your account.
If the refund was issued, you just have to wait until it shows up.

·1 year agoAlternatively, your credit card should have a customer service phone number on it; you could call them and inquire as to whether they are processing the refund and it’s in the works.
